Jerry also knows where a ‘77 5 speed car is that runs well but is otherwise rough if you wanted to make a swap. The asking price is $400 each. Call Jerry at  FMI.

Thank You!

A big thank you to Carl George and Bob Coleman for taking the time to talk to the club about vintage racing their MGA’s! Mike King, Jack Coffey, Cindy and I all went down to the Walter Mitty last weekend and watched some fantastic racing. Congratulations to new member Todd Parish and his father Bill on winning the Enduro race and extending their already large points lead. Carl did OK with the Twin Cam, but Bob spun a rod bearing and Bill Clark/Larry Newberry had ignition trouble all weekend. I highly recommend this event for anyone even slightly interested in vintage racing. It is hard to imagine the mix of cars you will see. Let’s just say the best race of the weekend was a hotly contested 8 lap heat race in which a 1972 Camaro beat a Ford GT40 by the slimmest of margins! I believe the hold this event in October as well and I will let you know in future newsletters.
