Show T-Shirt
Clearance!

We still have just a few remaining t-shirts left over from the car show. They have a faded British flag background with snap shots of last years winning vehicles sort of pasted around in scrap book fashion. These vehicles are: yellowish chrome bumper MGB-GT, white Daimler SP 250, black
London taxi, green TR4, red series I E-type, Vincent Black Shadow and green Land Rover. Printed on Haynes Beefy T’s and a veritable steal at $12. Remaining sizes and quantities are as follows: XXL-6 XL-6 L-10 S-4. Call me (JD) with your order and I’ll bring them to the next event.

Interstate Battery Great American Race!

The Interstate Battery Great American Race comes to Nashville on Thursday July 6th. The racers will be stopping for the night in Centennial Park during their 4,500 mile trek from Ottawa, Canada to Mexico City, Mexico. The race includes over 100 vintage cars, (at the beginning anyway!) and
should hit Nashville around 6:30 P.M. On a local scale, a small parade of classic and vintage cars which is open to everyone, is to take place between 4 and 4:30 at the park. This is to build up excitement and interest for the Great Racers as they make their grand entrance. There will be plaques awarded to the first 100 local cars that show up at the park. A “Shine Town Choice
Award” will be presented by an “honored guest” (hey, I’m just repeating what they are telling me OK?). Prizes and gifts will be presented throughout the evening as well. I should also mention that Peter Prater of Hendersonville will be racing with the group as well as a member of MG National from Canada.
