Attention Show Winners!
First of all congratulations to all of who won at the show. It was
a beautiful day and a great show. We are thinking seriously about trying
to get the same facility next year. Thanks once again to all you troopers
who helped pull everything together. By the way, the cars from NY and Ohio
actually showed up, driving all the way no less! 725 miles was the longest
distance and that was the 1974 Midget driven from Kenmore (Buffalo) NY.
If you won an award, I have them at the shop. You can come by and pick
them up, or call me and I will bring your plaque to the next event. We
still have some license plate frames available and a very few show t-shirts
($14). Again, call me if you
want one and I will bring. I hope you all make some time to get out
and enjoy your cars this summer. We are going to try to make some different
shows. We will be going to Louisville and probably Tanglewood this month.
I know a lot of you like going to the Chattanooga show so take note of
the date change on the enclosed flyer. See you on the road!
Video Library
Kevin Venable has graciously offered to be the NBCC’s video librarian.
As I told you last year we have a small but quality selection of vintage
racing and other videos available for your enjoyment. We will compose a
list for you and it will be sent out with the next newsletter and you can
call Kevin to borrow whichever tapes you like. If you have a video you
think other members might like to see please call Kevin so we can add it
to the list. Your video does not have to be submitted to the library, you
may keep it at home if you like and control it’s movements yourself if
you wish. Anywho call Kevin at 262-7887 (not too early though!) and he
can help you.
The next newsletter will include a list of the videos available.
This will make it easier and then we can just include updates in the following
newsletters.
