Auto Body Class Beginning
Stan Fischer is going to take an auto body repair course offered
this summer and would like to know if someone wants to join him. The classes
begin on June 15th and are every wednesday night at 7 P.M. for 10 weeks
at McGavock High School in Donelson. The cost is $50. Please call Stan
at 352-8229 if you are interested.
In Fond Memory...
It is with great sadness that I bring you the news that Roland Baker died
Sunday. Roland was a staunch supporter of the Car and Motorcycle show from
the very beginning. He and his 1950 Vincent Black Shadow were a constant
at these events. He was a very nice gentleman whom I wish I had
known better who died doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle. The
NBCC shares the sorrow of those who were close to him and we will miss
him sorely.
Upcoming Events
NOTE: Stan is once again co-ordinating people going to events. If you think
you might go to an event listed below call him at 352-8229 so he can put
you in touch with anyone else who may be going. Also, if you think you
may come to one of the NBCC events listed below let Stan know so we can
call you if the event is canceled for whatever reason. That way you wont
make an unnecessary trip in questionable weather. NBCC Events
June 26th- Maupin's tour of Williamson Co. incl.
Carnton House ($5 option), Confederate Battle field and dinner at Henry
Horton S.P. Optional routes will be available for those not interested
in stops or dinner. Meet 12:30 First American Bank parking lot on Thompson
Ln in front of 100 Oaks Mall.
July 17th- Roy and Steve's Poker Run. Meet at Service
Merchandise parking lot, Hwy. 70S and Old Hickory Blvd. in Bellevue at
1:30 leave at 2. There will be 5 stops along the route to pick up cards.
Whomever has the best hand at the end of the drive wins an unbelievable
prize! Route will be through west Davidson and Cheatham counties.
Aug. 14th- Pinckard's tour of east Davidson, Wilson and
Sumner counties. Meeting time and place will be in next newsletter.
