126 Members Strong!

You read correctly, the Nashville British Car Club now includes 126 member families! This number includes those who have not paid their dues as of yet. They did not receive this newsletter but a final reminder card instead. First notice was in March and it’s time to concentrate our efforts on those
members with the initiative to keep up. Our newest members are listed below. The latest club directory will be sent out soon and will only include those whose dues are up to date at press time.

The Rally of the Year!

On Sunday October 8th is the event everyone has waited all year for! (In other words, we expect everyone to be there!). The long awaited much ballyhooed Trent/Broome rally, otherwise known as Jim & Frank’s Excellent Adventure, has been cast in stone and so it shall be. The rally, a joint
presentation of the A-H Club and the NBCC,  is to be followed by a cookout! You should bring: 1)Battery operated laptop P.C. ( either a 486 or Pentium processor) or a cheap calculator.2) Working speedo/odometer.3) Full tank of gas.4) $2.50 Per person (US funds) for the cookout!5) (Optional) A memento or article of clothing from WWII. Disclaimer! Rallyemasters NOT responsible for family spats or divorces!

NBCC Members In The News!

Some of you might have noticed a familiar face on the cover of the Williamson County Business Review for the month of August. That face belongs to none other than George Ross of Thompson’s Station. George is pictured standing between his MGB and Stan’s MGA body shell. He is, in
fact, holding Stan’s body shell up off the ground with one hand! He makes it look so easy! Also, on the front page of the Aug. 30th issue of the Nashville Banner was our VP Bob Maupin showing everyone that it’s so easy to repair air conditioners he can do it with his eyes closed! I can only hope that their newspaper exposure garnishes them the same fame and fortune that our TV appearances have brought Steve Silverstein and myself!
